The Company

One of our clients, a well established and reputable Building Science firm based in Southern Ontario, is hiring an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic team to assist on working predominantly on residential, mixed-use and multi-family projects.

THE JOB

Reporting to the production manager, the ideal applicant will have excellent communication skills and coordinate with team members throughout all processes of the project phases. You will bring a strong technical skill set to the team, and be liaising with clients and design teams to discuss project plans and designs, and work according to these to produce high quality working drawing packages, construction documents, designs, details and blueprints.

You will also complete mark ups and make changes to ensure projects are finished accurately and in a timely manner.

What’s Required

The ideal candidate will have the following credentials;

• Architectural Technology Diploma/Certification
• Between 3.5 to 8 years’ experience as an Architectural Technologist in an Architecture of engineering/design based firm from within Canada
• Experience working with AutoCAD; experience with MS Office preferred. Revit an asset.
• Experience working on commercial and or residential projects
• High attention to detail, accurate and precise worker, able to work at a reasonable pace
• Excellent communication skills to effectively work with clients and project teams
