Adecco is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanics for a full-time, permanent position at a leading Canadian specialty aerospace and defence company in Abbotsford, BC. In this role, you will be responsible for performing aircraft maintenance, repairs, and overhauls in accordance with industry standards, while ensuring meticulous completion of associated documentation.

  • Relocation Package available for eligible candidates. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to the company’s policies and procedures, reflecting its culture, values, respectful workplace principles, health and safety regulations, attendance requirements, and security protocols.
  • Comply with the customer’s check package, Transport Canada Regulations (CARS), Technical Airworthiness Manual (TAM), Quality Control Procedures (QCP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Process Standards (CPS), maintenance and manufacturing manuals, and policy manuals, as well as the scope of certification authority.
  • Perform repairs, modifications, and inspection tasks on customer aircraft.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, documentation, and reporting.
  • Provide coaching and leadership to junior technicians, fostering efficient and accurate work performance and supporting their skill development in the trade.
  • Carry out any other duties as required. Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid certificate or license in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, approved by the applicable governing body or TCA.
  • Hold full ACA Authorizations.
  • Have a minimum of 48+ months of experience in performing AME duties.
  • C130 Experience is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrate specific knowledge of manufacturing, maintenance, repair, and modification of aircraft or systems and components in the Mechanics, Structures, or Avionics trade.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Exhibit basic computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
  • Maintain the ability to uphold approved standards of Quality Control.
