This position is to participate in on-the-job training, performing basic repairs of outdoor power equipment and/or agricultural equipment under the direction of a Senior Technician, Service Manager or Shop Foreman.

Your Responsibilities Are
  • Perform basic service tasks as assigned
  • Develops skills in removal, disassembly, and reconditioning of components.
  • Prepares all reports and forms required in conjunction with job assignments
  • Participates in Service Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
  • Assists Senior Technicians as required.
  • Maintains condition of service vehicles, trailers, tools and equipment
  • Performs pre-delivery set up and inspection on new equipment as required
Required Skills
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Good skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Ability to understand limitations and capabilities and act accordingly
  • Have a valid driver’s license and clear abstract
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Required Experience
  • Have completed High School or received equivalent GED
  • Be prepared to sign up for the Apprenticeship Program if not already done so
