You have the vision and the ability to plan and implement the design and delivery of internal and partner communications and engagement materials, campaigns and projects.

The Ministry of Children and Family Development’s primary focus is to support all children and youth in British Columbia to live in safe, healthy and nurturing families and be strongly connected to their communities and culture. The ministry supports the well-being of children, youth and families in British Columbia by providing services that are accessible, inclusive, and culturally respectful.

The Strategic Services teams leads strategic planning and reporting, internal communication, as well as change and project management to develop and implement complex, cross-divisional projects.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, communications or a related field. and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience managing and delivering complex and time sensitive change management, communications and/or engagement projects.
  • Experience producing high quality change management, communications and engagement products, on tight timeframes for high-priority initiatives.
  • Experience leading and/or working collaboratively with diverse teams


Preferences:

  • Applicants who self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations, status or non-status, Métis, or Inuit) with the required combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in a social ministry or organization
  • Project Management Professional Designation
  • Experience directing the work of others (professional employees and/or consultants)

Two positions available.
These positions can be based out of any of the locations listed above.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 4 days at home per week as per the Telework Agreement.
