Your Opportunity:The Administrative Support IV provides a variety of administrative and/or secretarial support activities to the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) team, the Bariatric Clinic, and the Diabetes Clinic, such as meeting and greeting staff and public; reviewing correspondence; preparing documentation; collecting, collating and compiling data;, various scheduling tasks, establishing and maintaining filing systems for efficient storage and retrieval; requisitioning and maintaining supplies and equipment; operating and troubleshooting office equipment; ensuring the integrity of confidential information; and performing other related duties as required. This position shares responsibility for the downloading, distribution, and data entry of lab reports from across the zone, providing support to local Chronic Disease Management nurses, and monitoring a zone-wide phone line. Additional responsibilities may include management of incident reporting forms between and among partnering departments. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. A combination of experience and education may be considered.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Meditech an asset. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Function effectively within a dynamic work environment. Organize own work to meet pre-established deadlines, and to comply with staff schedules. Work with a variety of staff, maintaining harmonious, professional relationships.
