We are looking for an Administrative Support Assistant

The Administrative Support Assistant in our Disability Management Services Office (DMSO) in Winnipeg and will be responsible for supporting the team with the day to day administrative functions for disability claimants.

What you will do
  • Call skills- following up with claimants via phone- customer service in both languages,
  • Documenting- requesting documents, documenting within our system, updating follow ups and creating and sending letters.
  • Working with providers and employees to book Independent medical examination appointments. triage calls, organize schedules
  • Critical thinking
  • Attention to detail
  • Time management
What you will bring
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Well developed organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
  • Proficient user in MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Strong typing and data entry skills
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Well developed problem solving skills
Due to the high profile of a number of our clients, a Federal Government Enhanced Screening is a job requirement and this will involve fingerprinting and a credit check.
