Currently seeking an experienced part-time Administrative Assistant. In this role, the candidate will report to the President and owner of the Company.

This position is work from home. 15 hours per week. The candidate should live in Montreal for occasional visits to the factory. The hours are flexible. However, sometimes issues may be time sensitive (usually in the morning or end of day).

Responsibilities

An integral contributor to the success of a client first culture, this dynamic role interfaces between the clients and the manufacturing operation. The multifaceted role requires a confident, steady personality who thrives in a small business environment. The role will offer the successful candidate an education in all aspects of small business management and administration. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  •  Liaise and maintain strong communication with the factory, in tandem with communicating with external clients to effectively meet their delivery requirements.
  •  Collaborate with the President to disseminate all pertinent information regarding Customer Service issues (coordinating customer requests and the manufacturing process.) & provide all invoicing and delivery tracking details
  •  Receive, process, and track all order fulfillment requests.
  •  Invoice management -prepare and enter all invoices in accounting.
  •  Entry of purchase invoices, and filing of government reports using Sage 50 Software
  •  Order tracking and informing customers of fulfillment status proactively advising on any delays, and logistical & delivery issues.

Education And Experience

  •  Minimum 3 years’ experience in an operational environment
  •  College diploma or University degree an asset
  •  Previous experience in manufacturing and distribution an asset
  •  Logistical experience an asset
  •  Solid experience with Sage 50 accounting software
  •  Strong Microsoft Office skills
  •  Bilingual
