About The Opportunity

The incumbent provides office managerial support to the Site Manager at Digby General Hospital. The incumbent functions as a primary point of contact for the Manager responding to general information requests related to the site and above programs or referring calls to others as appropriate. Provides confidential administrative service with high quality of organizational and communication skills to assist and support the Manager in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the office on a daily basis.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
  • Graduate of a recognized office administration program/business program/secretarial program.
  • Minimum of three years of administrative experience OR a combination of equivalent education, training, and experience.
  • Advanced working knowledge of computers required, including Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Database Programs.
  • High degree of initiative, diligence, attention to detail and self-discipline/focus required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision required.
  • Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to respectfully work with a variety of inter-professional team members required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, prioritizing and organizational skills.
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred.

  • Long Assignment, Part-time (80%) position; 60 hours bi-weekly

Compensation and Incentives

$21.00 - $26.19 hourly
