We are looking for an administrative assistant to join our team!
The focus of this position will be to provide administrative assistance to our operation’s leadership team in the Stoney Creek office. A confident professional that works independently with minimal direction, this position coordinates and drives efficiency through strategic and timely administrative support.

What You Will Do
- Administration, preparation, communication, and organization of activities related to all district operations: employee communications and support requirements, emergency response, safety, municipal and community relations, customers and complaints.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and expense processing
- Summarize and assess analytical information providing reports to management team.
- Monitor and receive communications in absence of managers and ensure appropriate response and follow-up.
- Provide and maintain internal communication processes with management team and key external contacts; organize meetings and presentations both internally and externally and provide in-depth meeting minutes.
- Support and participate in various internal committees, teams and initiatives.
- Responsibilities occasionally require travel and overtime outside of normal work hours.
- Relevant education and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the administrative field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Internet navigation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – both oral and written
- Ability to learn tasks quickly and become efficient in a short period of time
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize
- Ability to handle confidential material and treat accordingly
- Excellent organization skills, proactive and self-motivated. Relationship builder
