We are actively seeking an Accounting System Administrator to join our team in Calgary. Reporting to the Manager, Operations Accounting, this individual will work closely with the senior accounting systems personnel to ensure the integrity of Qbyte FM’s Masterfile set-up and maintenance. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented position requiring a thorough understanding of Qbyte FM software.
Areas of Responsibility:
  • Responsible to set-up and maintain the vendor Masterfile’s, including banking information.
  • Create and maintain allocation cost centers.
  • Ongoing cost center maintenance, including hierarchy management.
  • Testing of Qbyte software upgrades.
  • Provide assistance and training in Qbyte, Uploads and Optix for Strathcona employees.
  • Verify data related to changes in Qbyte against our financial reporting cube for quality and integrity.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and entries, as required.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Current Qbyte FM Masterfile set up experience is required.
  • Post-secondary education in Finance and Accounting, or other related discipline considered as asset. Equivalencies of experience and education will be considered.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (i.e., Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage various deadlines and deliverables.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and is a collaborative team player.
Work Environment
  • Based at the Calgary Head Office (TD Canada Trust Tower) during business core hours.
