Assistant Controller/Accounting Manager

Location: Burnaby, BC (2-3 days onsite per week)

Full-time permanent position

Salary is $90-100K

Our manufacturing client is looking for an Assistant Controller on a full-time basis in Burnaby. We are looking for someone who has 5+ years of accounting supervisory experience, a CPA designation, experience with a large ERP system (like NetSuite) and can work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for performing the full accounting cycle including month and year end, prepare financial statements, cash flow projections, oversee payroll, AP, AR, supervise and mentor staff and support the regional controller. Requirements:

• 5+ years of supervisory experience (including supervise, mentor and train)
• CPA designation is strongly preferred
• MUST HAVE experience with a large Tier 1 ERP system like Oracle NetSuite
• Self-motivated with a high attention to detail
• Full accounting cycle experience (month-end, year-end, audit)
