Overview:
Adastra Corporation is hiring! We are seeking a highly motivated Account Executive with experience in the Data and Analytics domain to lead our Ottawa expansion to establish contact with key federal government clients and potential customers, to help them understand our Cloud, Data, Analytics, AI and ML Service Offerings, and manage key accounts. We are looking for a professional who will manage the P&L for our Data & Analytics consulting practice. Location:
Ottawa, Ontario (Currently remote)
Status: Full Time, Permanent

Responsibilities:
  • Establish contact with potential clients and provide an overview of our services
  • Suggest applicable and relevant upsells to help clients benefit from our full capabilities
  • Work with government procurement vehicles and respond to Request for Proposals
  • Establish relationships with Federal Government accounts and private organizations in the Greater Ottawa area
  • Meet monthly and quarterly sales objectives
  • Articulate how our Services benefit clients and talk fluently through a dynamic offering with potential clients
  • Prepare and submit weekly sales reports to management
  • Develop and maintain client relationships at senior management levels
  • Prepare written proposals and deliver oral presentation to customers and stakeholders
  • Manage agreements and contracts with customers, suppliers and vendors
  • Diligently use, maintain and update customer information using CRM system
  • Key account management of current clients
  • Establish partner relationships and be responsible for presenting pre-sales solutions to customer audiences
  • Establish strong relationships with Adastra practice/expertise leads and partners effectively to minimize sales cycle times and maximize conversion rates

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to translate complicated technical jargon for a non-technical audience
  • Strong technical knowledge and acumen of Data, Cloud, AI, ML and BI concepts
  • Experience in deploying Analytics and Data Management solutions, including Big Data, Reporting, AI and ML
  • Ability to travel to client offices throughout the Ottawa area
  • Aptitude for building rapport and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Experience in services/consulting and software sales
  • Superior presentation and public speaking skills
  • A proactive self-starter who can operate as part of a team and individually
  • Experience working with the Federal Government
  • High level of energy and self-motivation
  • Must be willing to develop pre-sales technical capability in the Cloud Data space and present solutions to customers
  • Bachelor’s degree – Computer Science/Math or Business is preferred
