(5Month Term) Digital Marketing Specialist

Birchwood Automotive Group has an immediate opportunity for a Digital Content Specialist who will be part of a team responsible for creating, coordinating and executing the Birchwood Content and Social Media strategies. Birchwood is looking for an individual who can produce content that is engaging yet pointed to focus on the automotive industry.

We are looking for someone with an attention to detail and love for creating content. By supporting overall marketing and communication objectives, this position is essential to help bring our brand to life. This is a part-time position leading to full time May to August 2022. The position will work 50% of time in office and 50% out gathering content.

About You

• Completing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism or diploma in Creative Communications
• Strong understanding of content best practices
• A passion for social media and adept at various platforms
• A love for branding, content strategy, modern design
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; articulate and skilled at telling a visual story and presenting to external audiences though audio, video, and written formats

The Digital Content Specialist Will

• Produce and publish engaging social media and web content for Birchwood Automotive Group based on existing content strategies.
• Coordinate content production planning, this includes coordinating interviews, photo and video shoots with various Birchwood dealerships and external vendors

Requirements

• Experience using social media platforms
• Experience in automotive industry considered an asset
• Copywriting—creating platform-specific copy for our customers while conveying a consistent brand tone
• Photography & Videography - basic photography and photo editing skills, support video shoots
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
