This is a fixed-term 6 month role (with possibility of extension) with Deloitte Global (DTTL) ideal for individuals who would like to gain global experience and return to a role wholly serving their Deloitte firm at the end of the term. Due to the global nature of this role, relocation is not required, nor supported.

What will your typical day look like?


Global Clients & Industries (GC&I) Marketing and Communications directs, manages, and coordinates high impact, global marketing campaigns to deliver on the sector/industry, business and member firms marketing strategies to promote solutions/services, business and
industry insights, and create a unique client experience. These multifaceted marketing campaigns are designed to enhance Deloitte brand eminence, reaching a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including clients, media, government, non-government
organizations, industry influencers, and the internal Deloitte network.


  • An exciting opportunity exists to join the GC&I marketing team in a secondment as a Marketing Manager working on our global
  • Connected Everything marketing campaign. In this role, you will work with the Global Cross Industry Marketing Lead to plan and execute global activations that support our campaign.
  • We are looking for a dynamic and analytical thinker who is comfortable working on a fast-moving and complex global cross-industry campaign with stakeholders across the full matrix of our organization.
  • This is a secondment position with Deloitte Global through end of FY’22, with option to extend through FY’23 pursuant to available funding.


Responsibilities:


In this interesting and diverse role, you will work with select Industry Marketing Leaders to develop and execute integrated marketing and communication plans drawing upon all elements of the marketing mix/communications channels.


  • Work with the Marketing Lead to clearly define Marketing Campaign objectives and deliver expected results.
  • Support the development and execution of the global marketing strategy and campaign, including content strategy, content marketing, digital marketing, and event marketing
  • Assess needs, write, edit, produce, and manage distribution of internal and external marketing content for the campaigns; leverage internal resources (e.g., GC&I Marketing Services team, Green Dot Agency, CoRE Creative Services, Global PR, additional internal design studios, internal channel owners, etc.) to effectively execute on the planned campaigns across all channels.
  • Collaborate with a global marketing community of approximately 150 marketers who are a critical channel to drive this campaign
  • Assist with third party relationships in collaboration with industry/sector teams and the Industry Marketing Leaders (e.g. key industry associations/partners, agencies used for design/development of content, event and conference organizers for sponsorships and profiling).
  • Ensure compliance with legal and DTTL brand standards for marketing as appropriate.
  • Manage marketing campaign metrics (ROI) and provide input and feedback to help shape delivery and measurement process; adjust plans and tactics based upon collected metrics.

You are someone with:


  • Bachelor’s Degree/BA/BS in marketing, communications, business administration or related fields required.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing and communications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power Point and Excel.
  • Strong business acumen and an ability to drive campaign content/approach from the view of the audience.
  • Advanced skills in English, verbal and written.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills; with an ear for authentic, persuasive language, strong listening skills, and quick understanding of audience and content.
  • Open-minded creativity and imagination; a good eye for compelling visual design.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong collaboration skills; team-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Strong relationship building/relationship management skills and proven influencing skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% travel may be required.
