This Administration position is for Principal at Lou MacNarin School starting immediately (2021-2022 school year) for a 5 year contract . The Grade level is K-5 with 80 staff and approximately 475 students . Planning and preparation will be required prior to the beginning of the school year.

SELECTION CRITERIA

All applicants must:
have at least five years teaching experience at that level

possess a New Brunswick Principal’s Certificate

have or have had a continuing contract with a School District in the Province of New Brunswick

SHORTLISTING

Only teachers who meet the above requirements are eligible for appointment to positions of responsibility, except when no applications from teachers with such qualifications have been received. For the purpose of short listing for the interview selection process, preference will be given to applicants who:

demonstrate success in the area of working and leading in a collaborative working environment.

have teaching/administration experience at the level(s) to which they are applying.

demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the instructional practices appropriate to the level and of the curricula for that level.
