Summary
:


The Administrative Assistant provides a range of clerical and office-related support duties to the facility. The Administrative Assistant is also responsible for the preparation of correspondences, reports, documentation, and files relating to the operation of the facility.


Employment Type:
Temporary Full-Time (December 12, 2022 - March 10, 2023)


Reports to:
Housing Services Manager


Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides clerical assistance to the facility’s needs including word processing, data input, typing support, drafting correspondences, taking minutes, scheduling appointments, and preparing internal memoranda
  • Maintains the office functions of the facility
  • Receives, screens, and prioritizes incoming correspondences
  • Keeps, maintains, archives, and stores client/program information with appropriate privacy and confidential procedures
  • Responds to incoming inquiries and questions per established policies and protocols
  • Produces reports from internal databases as needed
  • Maintains documentation such as logbooks, reports, statistics, and records on the facility
  • Helps with the tracking and documentation of finances of the facility under the guidance of the Resident Care Manager
  • Other related duties as required by the Housing Services Manager

Education, Training & Experience:

  • Graduation of grade 12
  • Minimum of 3 years recent related experience and/or training
  • Experience with a multicultural clientele
  • Certificates in CPR and/or First Aid is an asset
